Chicago native, Liz Klafeta has always had an eye for travel, to experience the world and all the different people that live in it. An entrepreneur and designer, Liz studied fashion business at Chicago’s Columbia College. During her time there, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence. It was then that her wanderlust began to develop, taking her on adventures throughout the world.
After college, Klafeta began her career working as a wardrobe and prop stylist. For the past thirteen years, she helped bring ad campaigns to life for clients such as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, American Express and HGTV’s Property Brothers.
An experienced traveler herself, she understands that the destination is just as important as the accommodations. Most importantly, she believes when coupled together in just the right way, that any vacation has the power to rejuvenate the imagination.
That is the goal of her latest venture – BANGTEL, one of the first boutique apartment rental companies to use AirBnB as a booking platform. With properties in New York and Chicago, she brings her innate sense of style to life by crafting unique spaces that can refresh the mind and make anyone feel like they’re right at home.
