AJ Pujalet is a second generation hotelier and Seattle native who enjoys the daily adventures of traveling and living internationally.

He graduated from Washington State University - Hospitality and Business Management and was afforded the opportunity to study abroad at Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland, an international hotel university. After completing his studies, AJ spent a month traveling Western Europe before returning to Cesar Ritz University as the Student Services Coordinator. A year and a half later when his work visa expired, AJ moved back to Seattle to try his hand at being a Technical Recruiter in the booming Seattle tech market.

After six months, AJ decided to live abroad again, working in the energy industry as a Project Manager on Sakhalin Island, in Far East Russia managing the food service facilities that provided for 28,000 energy workers on the island. It was during his time in Russia that AJ was offered an opportunity to work with the same company to open its first remote site project in Mongolia. Working out of his home base in Ulaanbaatar, AJ assisted in the design, construction and management of Mongolia’s first wind farm.

After completing the project in Mongolia, he returned to Russia to fulfil the remainder of his contract after which he returned home to US. Eager to get back into the travel industry, AJ pursued his hospitality passion with the luxury hotel brand, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. He successfully completed the escalated Leadership Development Program in the Sales Department at the prestigious Fairmont San Francisco and was then promoted and relocated to the Fairmont Newport Beach, California. After a successful 2 years in Newport Beach, AJ relocated to Boston in 2016 to manage the Individual Travel Sales for the landmark hotel, Fairmont Copley Plaza.

AJ has traveled to 39 countries around the world and looks forward to continuing his education in the travel industry.
